B Real Logistics LLC (“B Real Logistics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a women-owned logistics and transportation company in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit breallogistics.us (the “Site”) or contact us.

1. Information We Collect

  • Contact form details: the name, email address, phone number, and message you type into our contact form, and whether you agreed to receive text messages. Your message is sent to our team by email.
  • Contact and business information you give us by phone or email: name, company, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
  • Shipment and transaction information: pickup and delivery locations, load details, and the documents and payment details needed to move and bill a shipment.
  • Communications: records of calls, emails, and, if you opt in, text messages with us, including your SMS opt-in and opt-out history.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you visit, recorded automatically in standard server logs that we use to keep the Site secure and working.

2. How We Use Information

  • Reply to your questions and requests for a quote.
  • Plan, book, track, and deliver shipments, including real-time tracking through our transportation management software.
  • Communicate with customers, carriers, and receivers about loads, schedules, documents, and payments.
  • Respond to people who apply to join our team (applications go through a separate form, see Third-Party Links).
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
  • Meet legal, regulatory, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide our services:

  • Carriers, customers, and receivers involved in a shipment, limited to what is needed to move that freight.
  • Service providers that support our operations, such as email, hosting, transportation management and tracking software (McLeod Software), and accounting and payment services. They may use information only to perform services for us.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to receive text messages from B Real Logistics, by checking the SMS box on a form on this Site or by agreeing when we onboard you, we use your mobile number to send SMS messages about conversations, appointments, reminders, and updates related to your inquiry, your shipments, and our business relationship with you.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply; contact your wireless carrier for details. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

The Site does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not use third-party trackers. Your browser may store your light or dark theme choice on your own device (local storage) so the Site remembers it; that setting stays on your device and is not sent to us.

6. Data Security

The Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and contact form messages are limited to the information you choose to send us. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive personal details through the Site or by email.

7. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax, insurance, and regulatory recordkeeping requirements for freight transactions. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

8. Your Choices

  • Opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message.
  • Opt out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We may keep information we are legally required to retain.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party sites and forms, for example our “Join our Team” application form (a Google Form) and our Facebook page. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices; review their policies before sharing information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date.
